EXTERMINADOR DO FUTURO: A SALVAÇÃO

Dizer que o quarto filme da franquia é ruim, ainda mais sendo seguidora da filosofia dela desde o segundo, deve ser pecado em algum lugar no futuro. No entanto, afirmar que de longe é o mais tedioso é não se deixar engolir qualquer coisa que coloquem o nome Exterminador do Futuro. Enquanto ovacionam James Cameron por Avatar, eu ainda quero trucidá-lo por permitir a cagada que fizeram com o terceiro filme. Porque acredito que se aquilo não tivesse sido lançado, isto seria muito melhor.

Eu não vou falar sobre o plot, porque ele é previsível do início ao fim. Só não tenho certeza ainda se isso também vale para quem não assistiu ao primeiro filme. O Christian Bale não me convenceu como Connor; não porque adoro o Batman e vejo nele a personificação da personagem, mas sim por ele simplesmente parecer não saber mais falar como ele mesmo. Toda cena em que ele precisa encenar seriedade e não há diálogo com outra personagem, reparem, a voz do Batman entra em ação. Cadê o Bale de Equilibrium? O de O Sobrevivente? O de O Operário?

A Bryce Dallas Howard, ao meu ver, tem tudo para ser uma grande atriz daqui a alguns anos. Isso se ela parar de entrar em seqüências de blockbusters. Ela não exagera nas expressões, nem as usa de menos, assim como ela sabe demonstrar muito bem o que a personagem requer no momento: seja alegria, tristeza, arrependimento, dor, o que for. O problema é que a personagem dela não me desce. E isso não é culpa da Claire Danes. Nada me tira da cabeça que a Kate foi criada por algum roteirista anti-slash que acreditava piamente que, se o John aparecesse solteiro no futuro, as slashers criariam fanfics com ele tendo um caso com o T-800.

Momento Salvando Meu Traseiro
Kyle Reese aprovado. O cara realmente lembra o ator que o interpretou quando mais velho e a interpretação dele fluiu fácil. "You Could Be Mine" do Guns N' Roses tocando foi tudo! E, é claro, a explicação para cicatriz no rosto do Connor. Eu havia imaginado umas 500 hipóteses para ela desde que a vi no início do segundo filme. Aliás, se o filme pecou em ser previsível, ele se saiu muito bem ao conectar as peças do primeiro filme.

TERMINATOR SALVATION

Say that the fourth film in the franchise is bad, even being a follower of its philosophy from the second one, must be a sin somewhere in the future. However, asserting that it is by far the most tedious is not letting yourself swallow anything that they put the name Terminator. While people acclaim James Cameron for Avatar, I still want to finish him off for allowing the stupidity they made with the third film. She doesn't exaggerate her expressions, or use them less, and he knows how to show very well what the role requires at the time: whether joy, sorrow, regret, pain, whatever. The problem is that I don't buy her character. And that's not Claire Danes' fault. Nothing gets me out of my head that Kate was created by some anti-slash writer who firmly believed that if John appeared single in the future, the slashers would create fanfics with him having an affair with T-800.

Moment Saving My Back
Kyle Reese approved. The guy really seems like the actor who played him when older and the his acting went easily. "You Could Be Mine" from Guns N 'Roses playing was everything! And, of course, the explanation for the scar on the face of Connor. I had imagined some 500 hypothesis for it since I saw it in the beginning of the second movie. Moreover, if the film has sinned in being predictable, it did very well to connect the pieces of the first film.

G.I. JOE : A ORIGEM DO COBRA

Quem teve a infeliz idéia de contratar o Channing Tatum e o Marlon Wayans para os papéis principais? Ambos merecem o troféu Framboesa por suas péssimas atuações. A Sienna Miller (que nunca me extasiou, assim como nunca me deu motivos para comentários negativos) perde muito tempo com suas caras e bocas e as poses sexies - até nos momentos em que elas não são necessária. Como se não fosse decepção o bastante, subjugaram todas as demais personagens (principalmente o Heavy Duty na minha opinião) em prol de um roteiro fraco e efeitos visuais dignos de filmes infantis.

Mas antes que me crucifiquem pela franqueza, eu declaro que valeu a pena assistir o Joseph Gordon-Levitt interpretando um vilão cheio de personalidade ao invés das suas comumente esperadas personagens boazinhas. O outro que roubou a cena, o Snake Eyes, tem os bônus de não ter dito uma só palavra ou mostrado o rosto durante todo o filme. O embate dele com o Storm Shadow podia ter sido melhor abordado, ou melhor, adiado, porque só a trama dos dois foi melhor que a trama de todas as personagens do esquadrão G.I. Joe juntas.

Agora deixando minha bitchice de lado, alguém mais só consegue ver a Miller no pôster oficial? Juro que só consegui ver os outros quando, depois de ver o filme, olhei-o de novo para procurar a imagem do Snake. Antes, a primeira e última coisa que eu via nele era ela. Como se eu tivesse passado por uma lavagem cerebral para abstrair todos os outros lá presentes. Bizarro.

Curiosidade
Provavelmente para o Ray Park, esse filme foi o melhor trabalho que ele já fez pelo simples fato dele não ter trabalhado um minuto sequer. Para quem não sabe, ele é expert em artes marciais e não precisar decorar diálogos deve ser o sonho de todo ator que não nasceu na era do cinema mudo.

G.I. JOE : THE RISE OF COBRA

Who had the bad idea to hire Channing Tatum and Marlon Wayans for the lead roles? Both deserve the trophy Raspberry for theirs bad performances. Sienna Miller (that never entranced me or gave me reasons for negative comments) spends much time with faces and mouths and sexy poses - even at times when they aren't needed. As if that wasn't disappointing enough, they subjugated all the other characters (especially Heavy Duty in my opinion) in favor of a weak script and visual effects worthy of children's films.

But before you crucify me for being frank, I declare that it was worth watching Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing a villain full of personality instead of his commonly expected nice characters. Other who stole the scene, Snake Eyes, has the bonus of not having said a word or shown his face throughout the movie. The clash of him with Storm Shadow could have been better worked up, or better, postponed, because only their plot was better than the plot of all characters in the G.I. Joe squad together.

Now leaving my bitchness aside, someone else can only see Miller in the official poster? I swear I could only see the others when, after seeing the movie, I looked at it again to find the image of Snake. Previously, the first and last thing I saw on it was her. It was like I had gone through a brainwashing to disregard all others present there. Bizarre.

Curiosity
Probably for Ray Park, this movie was the best work he's done simply because he hasn't worked a single minute. For those who don't know, he is an expert in martial arts and not need memorize dialogues must be the dream of every actor who was not born in the silent film era.

[Review] "Amor de Capitu" de Fernando Sabino

Houve uma época que minha mãe comprava os livros de uma coleção de clássicos da literatura brasileira. Logicamente, Dom Casmurro estava entre eles, mas nunca ninguém teve o interesse de lê-lo, nem mesmo a própria dona. Somente quando meu irmão precisou lê-lo para fazer uma prova que nós desvendamos a história que atravessou séculos. E todos se sentiram entediados. Não há dúvidas que a trama é excelente, com amarrações bem feitas, mas a narração... Tédio.

Tempos depois, a melhor amiga da minha mãe me emprestou Amor de Capitu, um livro que o filho dela - que regula idade comigo - precisou ler para o colégio, mas nunca demonstrara real interesse por ele. Quando eu li, já na capa, que era o romance de Machado de Assis, reescristo na terceira pessoa, a primeira coisa que imaginei é que teria algumas horas do mesmo tédio. Agora na visão de um narrador onisciente. Ledo engano.

A história flui tão mais fácil e tão mais rápido que a vontade é ler tudo de novo, quando se chega ao fim. Não entrarei no mérito da questão se a Capitu traiu ou não traiu o Bentinho, apesar desta versão possuir mais probabilidades para a suposta traição do que na original. Sem a visão parcial de Bento, tudo parece mais simples e claro.

Demorei meses para encontrar vontade de iniciar a leitura, mas assim que o fiz, eu terminei em algumas horas. Então se você é uma das milhares de pessoas que sequer chegou a metade de Dom Casmurro, leia Amor de Capitu e depois tente o livro do Machado de novo. Porque se você não conseguir apreciar a história em terceira pessoa, provavelmente detestará em primeira e ela é boa demais para se ignorar.

Arashi : Resumo de "A Vida Sexual da Mulher Feia" = A feia dá para qualquer um, qualquer um MESMO que faça o mínimo gesto de gentileza para ela.

Se os médicos lerem esse livro, as mulheres feias entrarão no grupo de risco ao lado dos homossexuais.

Helena : Nossa, que horror!

Arashi : Fale isso para a autora. Perdi a conta de quantos caras transaram com a protagonista. E olha que ela começou ainda menor de idade.

Helena : God! E é uma autora ainda!

Arashi : Pois é. E o pior é que parece ser autobiográfico. =X

Helena : Se eu entendi o que você disse, ser "feia" é sinônimo de ser promíscua, irresponsável e inconsequente sexualmente?

Arashi : Quase. Em uma passagem do livro ela disse algo como "as bonitas podem escolher; as feias têm que se agarrar a todas as portunidades que a vida lhes dará". Para mim o livro deveria ser chamar "A Vida Sexual da Mulher Sem Amor-Próprio".

Helena : Com certeza, você disse tudo. Faz a sugestão de mudar o título a ela! xDDD

Se for autobiográfico tudo bem, caso particular, mas se tratar de uma gerenalização é triste. Para ela e para as mulheres em geral.

Arashi : O livro é escrito em forma de tése, então foi generalização mesmo. >.<'

O pior é que os homens que não dão mole de primeira, ela "caça" até eles cederem. Coloque na lista um descendente de índio, um cobrador de ônibus, um porteiro, colegas de trabalho, etc. Em todos os capítulos ela conta um caso dela. Obviamente a maioria dos homens a comeu e desapareceu. Por que será?

Helena : Se ela for defender para alguma banca, eu quero ir para tacar ovo nela! Ela merece, a Geni não! hehehe

A primeira coisa que pensei ao ver a caracterização das personagens não foi "mas a Katara e o Sokka não são brancos!", como a maioria pensou e sim, "em qual url devem estar agrupando reclamações sobre o fato?". Por que? Não que tenham feito um site só para isso, mas me recordo que na época que a Halle Berry estrelou Mulher Gato, muitos apontaram o dedo e reclamaram, alguns até ofenderam a atriz e os responsáveis pelo filme, por conta do fato de uma negra estar interpretando uma personagem originalmente branca.

Não, eu não sou uma dessas pessoas que adora ver uma faísca para armar uma fogueira contra preconceito tal. E, para ser sincera, eu detestei a Halle Berry como Mulher Gato, mas não por causa da cor da pele dela - é claro. Mulher Gato para mim é a Michelle Pfeiffer e nenhuma outra. Culpem o Tim Burton pelo meu gosto.

A questão é que depois de ouvir declarações do tipo por anos e ver pessoas se juntando para fazer estardalhaço sobre isso, eu me sinto entediada. Irritada também, pois quando o contrário acontece, NINGUÉM PARECE SE INCOMODAR! É como se o mundo tivesse uma política tácita que todo caucasiano só pode ser interpretado por outro caucasiano e todas as outras etnias devessem ser interpretadas por... caucasianos!

Não precisei de três minutos no Cosplay.com para achar garotas que se adequariam ao papel da Katara: Hime, Koria e Waterkatara são algumas delas. E se era realmente necessário estes atores - o que duvido muito - MAQUIAGEM EXISTE! No meu país há uma cosplayer, a Yuki LeFay, que sempre se maqueia para interpretar a personagem Yoruichi. Se ela, que paga tudo do próprio bolso, demonstra respeito com a caracterização da personagem, por que um estúdio que gasta milhões em produção não pode gastar um pouco de dinheiro com maquiagem? Vocês conseguem imaginar, por exemplo, a Mística ou o Noturno de X-Men brancos?

Cansei dessa fachada hipócrita que prega não ser racista.

And if it was really necessary these actors - which I doubt very much - MAKE-UP EXIST! In my country there is a cosplayer, Yuki LeFay, who always makeup herself to play the character Yoruichi. If she, that pays everything with her own money, shows respect to the characterization of the character, why a studio that spends millions in production can not spend a little money on makeup? Can you imagine, for example, Mystique or Nightcrawler from X-Men white?

I'm sick and tired of this hypocrite facade which preaches not be racist.

Some of you may be laughing right now, because only a psychotic film like this could be the one chosen by me. XD

I watched it a long time ago. According to IMDB, about nine years, so, as incredible as it may seem, I don't remember it clearly - what is a surprise, as I remember "Sticks and Stones", a movie I watched as much as "Cecil B. Demented", but thirteen years ago.

Anyway, I remember that one of the things that made me love the movie was the fact that they insert famous people in their jokes and the fact that the characters were actually insane enough to kill anyone who interfered from filming; improvising the lines or trying to prevent the scenes were recorded. The fans are so crazy, but so crazy, that anyone can clearly see that they are fans of cult films embodied there. Not to mention the picture of B-movie and Rodney's line: "I'm ashamed of my heterosexuality!" In fact, the whole movie has great lines that make you lol. To think I only watched it because it had nothing better on TV to see at the ~~blessed~~ time that I stopped at Telecine.

I don't know if I can say that it is the best cult film of all time, because my body just woken up and my brain is still dozing. But this movie always comes to my mind when it comes to cult films and, with no doubt, if I did a Top 5, it would be on it.

Now, about the second the question, I think the main ingredient is not follow the traditional standards (be controversial, have an unique kind of narrative) and, of course, make it to a specific group of fans.

A menos que alguém me prove que o fato do Stefan ter salvo a Elena do acidente de carro que matou os pais dela consta nos livros, eu vou continuar achando que o roteirista foi muito cara-de-pau em copiar Evermore. Agora, caso isso realmente esteja escrito nos livros, a Alyson Noel vai perder muitos pontos no meu conceito.

Convidados + Graham and Wesley

Nada contra a Lexi, mas nada a favor também. Então, é óbvio que, o ponto alto da presença dela na série foi quando o Damon a matou. Ela parecia uma Mary Sue e elas me dão ânsia de vômito. Mas parece que pelo menos os roteiristas a amaram... ou estavam sem um pingo de imaginação.

O retorno da série veio com uma participação da Gina Torres (como essa mulher anda aparecendo em seriados nos últimos tempos! Daqui a pouco eu vou ter uma overdose de tanto ver a cara dela) como a Bree e um cara que interpretou o não mais namorado humano da Lexi. Digna de pena a inserção dos dois no episódio. Discorda? Ok, eu adoro gente que discorda.

Pensa comigo: Como um newborn derrubaria com tamanha facilidade um catedrático? Sério que uma pessoa que desistiu do seu bem mais precioso por uma vingança, na hora H desistiria dela por conta de um pedido de uma desconhecida? E para finalizar, se a Bree conhecia o Damon tão bem quanto ela dizia, por que ela acharia que a verbena seria o bastante para salvá-la dele?

O plot desse episódio só não foi pior do que as atuações da Katerina Graham e do Paul Wesley. Os dois atuam tão mal que ainda estou na dúvida sobre qual deles é pior. Imaginem só o sofrimento em assistir as cenas dos dois sozinhos...

E para terminar, depois de fugir dela em The L Word, a Mia Kirshner volta a me encontrar em TVD. Eu devo ter feito guerra de pão na Santa Ceia, só pode!

putz, there are many similar things. since kuroshitsuji i haven't seen so much resemblance between two works.

in lightning thief:

- it has someone to protect the boy closely. in hp was arabella, i don't know if you remember.
